8 Shot journey project

For this project I had to create a sequence of 8 shots ,over the 8 shots I had to show someone getting from one destination to another. For each shot I had to think about how long the shot was going to last for, different shot angles and camera techniques.

For 8 shot journey I started with my actor walking out of the park and going home ,then suddenly realizing they have lost their wallet they go on a small quest to find it.
My shots were about 5 to 20 seconds long, and I used medium shots ,close ups and long shots. I also went by the rule of thirds(objects placed off centre are interesting to look at)and the line of action rule (never switch sides when filming e.g. don’t film from left side and then film from the right side on the next shot ,unless valid reason).

I was fairly pleased with my 8 shot journey although I had to cut short my last shot because I zoomed ,which was not allowed ,this was a silly mistake as I did not read the brief through enough .I will make sure I will read the brief thoroughly next time. Also I felt my storyboard and log sheet were slightly messy and could have been much neater .
